  • We can accept up to $500 (CHECK/CREDIT CARD) from an individual or business for the Primary Election (Aug 26, 2008) and then once again for the General Election (Nov 4, 2008)
  • We can only accept up to $50 CASH donation from an individual or business.
    • All donations must include the name of the donor, their mailing address, telephone, and occupation.
  • We can accept donations up until one week prior to the election date.
    • We cannot accept any anonymous donations. All anonymous donations cannot be used and will be donated to a local charity at the end of the race.

Key Issues

Develop a Strategic Plan - so we know the needs and priorities in moving Lake County School District ahead.

Fiscal Responsibility - with the recent state budget cuts, we must focus on how we produce the best quality with our resources.

High School Graduation Rates - work with the students, teachers, parents and school administrators to increase the high school graduation rate.

School Safety - focus on school safety for a safe school environment which leads to a safe learning environment.

Parent Involvement - need to get creative in how we can engage more of our parents to be involved with their child’s school and education.

Remediation - find ways to better prepare our students with their reading and math skills.
